BCM/CS1K Integration

To integrate a BCM (Release 4 and above) and a CS1K (Release 5.5 and above) via IP, several steps are required.

Data side

• The BCM needs IP Trunk and MCDN keycodes applied. It connects to the TLAN.
• CS1K must have IP trunks built
• NRS must be configured, with endpoints built
• BCM and CS1K must both register with the NRS

Outgoing CS1K Calls

• Use CDP to send calls to the BCM out on the IP trunk route.
• NRS Routing Entries will send matching calls to the BCM endpoint
• BCM Target lines receive digits and ring the assigned extension, the call connects.

Outgoing BCM Calls

• Use Destination Codes to send CS1K calls out on the IP trunk route.
• NRS Routing Entries will send matching calls to the CS1K endpoint
• The CS1K DNB (digit number block) is searched for a match, the call connects.
