202i re-image Checklist

Locate software, patches, keycode, IP assignments, and passwords before starting!

1. make screenshots of the keycode and PBX config in the Configuration Wizard
2. while in the Configuration Manager, also make a screenshot of the SDN table

Perform a 'Full System Backup', either to a USB drive, or a networked PC

In LD 23, change the NCFW of the primary SDN's to an alternate answer point

Shutdown CallPilot, and remove the card.

Replace the SATA hard drive, making sure not to lose the four fiber washers.

Boot from the CallPilot image DVD (or external USB drive), might have to visit he BIOS Boot settings to allow this...

1. an external DVD drive will probably need an external power supply, as a 202i often doesn't supply enough
2. if you want to make a USB thumb drive, it needs to be no bigger than 4GB, and prepared with DISKPART
3. it's VERY SLOW to boot up! Patience!!

From the installation menu, choose: 1. install server image.... N, you are not upgrading, Y to start

There will be a couple of reboots, so BE PATIENT - finally: Login with "Administrator", password: Bvw250

On first boot, the Setup Wizard will launch... here you will say you have updates to install and exit out

Apply the Update patches:

1. Copy the SU11S and G05C patch files to CallPilots d:\temp directory
2. Double-click the SU11S .msi file, and click OK, do not reboot when prompted
3. Double-click the G05C .msi file, and click OK, reboot when finished

Re-run the Setup Wizard and restore the 'Full System Backup'.

1. Visit the control panel and set the ELAN IP address to restore from a network drive.
2. A local disk example E:<folder>
3. A network disk example \\<ipadd>\<folder>

Next, open the web manager, login and run the Config wizard...

1. Enter the keycode, and confirm the TN settings and IP addresses
2. SKIP LANGUAGE INSTALLATION as they're included in the full system backup you just restored
3. The config wizard will force an Administrator login password change: WRITE IT DOWN!!

Reboot, and wait for the startup process to complete!

LD 23: revert the ACD NCFW's back to the CallPilot CDN for the SDN's changed above
