Network Attendant Service
Network Attendant Service (NAS - package 159) allows the operator to be located anywhere on the network.
To send operator calls to 850000, build a table in LD 86 as follows:

When we print the table (LD 86), it's displayed as follows:

To build a time of day schedule, enter a number other than 0 at TODS, and continue with start/stop times and days of week:

To activate or Network Attendant Service, either put a NAS key on the local console(s), or force it in the customer data block. Print consoles in LD 20, add, change, or out in LD 12:

Check/Set NAS Status
Network Attendant Service status can be checked and/or changed with the console NAS key, or from the terminal:
➤ To check the status of the NAS feature, print NET_DATA in LD 21:
- Request is "PRT", type is "NET".
- Look for "NAS ACTV" (Network Attendant Service Active) - if active it will say "YES", if inactive "NO".
➤ To change the status of the NAS feature, go to LD 15:
- Request is "CHG", type is "NET".
- Enter down to the "NAS ACTV" prompt, and type either "yes" or "no". Then enter back out to the req prompt.
- To confirm the change, go back to LD 21 and print NET again to check the prompt (it's towards the bottom).
