Ungraceful Shutdown

Every now and then I’m sure you stumbled on to a Unity that throws the following error upon logging into it:

“Ungraceful Shutdown Detected - A rebuild of this node is highly recommended...”

This message occurs if the server (VM) is powered off without being first shutdown.

So here is how to disable that message. Unity versions 12.5.1SU6 and 14SU2 and higher have this CLI command by default. Anything older requires a .cop patch file that can be found at Cisco.com

• Login to Unity CLI, type in the following command:
• Admin: utils ungraceful warn disable

Always shutdown properly before powering off the VM!
