BCM50/400 Reset to Factory Defaults

Startup erases all programming and resets the BCM to a factory default state.

It should only be run at the initial set up if the Startup profile did not set the telephony profile to the correct setting and the Element Manager is not accessible to perform this task. Note that using this interface returns your system to the default state.

From any two line phone (M7310, M7324, etc), and within 15 mins of power-up:

Press the Nortel or Feature key followed by * * S T A R T U P or **7827887

The display will show... User ID:_
RETRYOK

Enter the Nortel default telset ID: setnna, or 738662.
Enter the default password: config or 266344.

If it's successful, then the display will change to... RESET MEMORY?
YESCANCEL

Press YES...

Press NEXT or CHANGE to select the default template (PBX)

Press NEXT or CHANGE to select the start DN (221)
